NEIGHBOURS in Worsley are fighting plans to replace a detached house with eight apartments.
Twelve letters signed by 33 residents have been sent to Salford Council, objecting to a planning application submitted by Oakwood Homes.
The firm wants to knock down the detached house at 48 Chatsworth Road and build a three-storey block of flats and a 12-space car park.
Neighbours claim the building would be incompatible with the surroundings and that there would be traffic dangers.
The council's planning and transportation regulatory panel will decided on the application.
