LEIGH Centurions have confirmed that both Normal Turley and Darren Abram have left the club.
Head Coach Paul Terzis has decided to change his backroom staff to plan ahead for next season's campaign and appointed Phil Vievers as his new assistant and Under 21 coach.
Tommy Cunningham, Chief Executive explained the changes, "Norman was out of contract at the end of the season and Paul decided he wanted new faces. Darren Abram was offered the joint position of Pauls assistant and the U21's coach but declined to take up the offer.
"It is very sad to see them leave but we must plan ahead, and with the experience Phil Vievers can bring to Leigh, I am sure he will be a quality addition to Pauls backroom squad."
Phil Vievers has gained Super League coaching experience with Huddersfield and most recently as head coach with Swinton Lions. Phil commented: "I am delighted to be here at Leigh and look forward to working with Paul and the players next season."
