What? A young band with a mature sound, Neon Sounds have only been together for 10 months but have already created a sound as unique as their name. They describe their music as a fusion of rock and funk with ballads and heavier numbers thrown in, and are inspired by the likes of Muse and Jimi Hendrix. The band have played many hometown gigs, including the Bolton Festival and also featured in the "In The City", Manchester's showcase for unsigned bands

Neon Sounds are about to make an impact on the Manchester music scene with a gig at Manchester's Band On The Wall on Tuesday at 8pm, joined by two other Bolton bands, Everyday Life and Fall In Line. Doors open at 8pm
