ANGLERS are still turning up in numbers to fish Royal Ashton AC's Winter League matches on Rumworth Reservoir and 18 hopefuls drew out for pegs in last week's match.
Gordon Hardman fished the pole with caster and bronze maggot to his advantage when he won the match with roach and perch for 6lbs-13ozs. Only just behind was Chris Riley who fished similar methods to return 6lbs-8ozs for second place. Third was John Crook with 4lbs-10ozs and fourth John Rodmel with 4lbs-7ozs.
