A SPECIAL service is being held for people who want to remember loved ones they have lost.
The event at Bolton Parish Church on Remembrance Sunday will give visitors the chance to pay tribute to a close friend or relative.
There will be an opportunity to add a person's name to the book of remembrance and light a candle. Every name in the book of remembrance will be read out.
The Rev Debby Plummer, the lecturer at Bolton Parish Church, said: "We will be remembering the Queen Mother and people who have died in the last year in acts of violence or terrorism.
"But we will not just remember people who have died over the past year. Anyone who wants to remember someone they have lost are welcome."
The event takes place at the Parish Church, Churchgate, at 3pm this Sunday.
There will be tea and coffee after the one hour service in the church hall.
