ROCKERS Cola Moon have been chosen as the first band to play at the newly opened Hard Rock Casino at Manchester's Printworks.
The unsigned band, made up of 23-year-old vocalist Alex Kirkley, guitarists Paul Adams and Rob Keeling, both aged 22, bass player James Greenhalgh, aged 22 and drummer Mike Partridge, aged 23, was asked to perform at the new venue after frontman Alex was approached by the manager during a night out.
The Ramsbottom lads' reputation has increased over the last six months. They were the only unsigned band to play at the Commonwealth Games closing cermony, and they have been handpicked as one of the few groups to appear at a 'Best of the North West' showcase at the Late Room in Manchester. They hope the next step will be a record deal.
Cola Moon will be appearing at the Hard Rock Casino on Thursday, November 14.
