I READ with amazement in the Bolton Evening News of November 6, an advertisement for a vacancy in The Chief Executive's Department of Bolton Council, for the post of "Senior Fairness Officer" on a salary of £23,889 - £26,493 per annum.
It beggars belief that there is actually a team of people within the Council employed to do whatever is involved in being "FAIR". A nd I hope someone from the council can enlighten us all as to why our money is being frittered away on schemes like this.
They obviously have more money than they know what to do with, so, for starters, why don't they drop the extortionate council tax that most of us pay each year?
