KEVIN Nolan has been assured he still has a place in David Platt's Under 21 plans.

The young Wanderer has been named in a 30-strong squad for a get-together at Burnham Beeches next week.

Nolan, who has won international recognition at U-18 and U-20 level, had been overlooked by Platt until last month when he was named in the squad for the European Championship double-header - only to be forced to withdraw with a groin problem injury.

Everton's 17-year-old rising star Wayne Rooney has also been invited to the get-together.
