A CLERGYMAN is to swop his parish in a mill town for life on the Falkland Islands.
The Rev Paul Sweeting from Blackburn will fly the 8,000 miles to the islands next year in his new post as the Rector of Christ Church in Port Stanley.
His appointment was the last made by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr George Carey, before his retirement.
