A MOORLAND path which has been restored will be officially opened today.
The path runs through the medieval deer park at Lyme Park, Stockport -- famous for being the set of the BBC's Pride and Prejudice.
In the past six months, volunteers have added replacement stiles and a new footbridge to benefit the 250,000 visitors the area attracts each year.
The project has been funded by The World Renewable Energy Network, and from landfill tax money.
