TWO managers from two major North-west firms will be taking on the biggest challenge of their lives in aid of charity.
St Helens Glass marketing director Capella Todd-Lloyd, and Mike Holden, a director of Chartwell Financial Services, are taking part in the Scope White Peaks Challenge which takes place next March in Austria and involves skiing 24 peaks in 48 hours.
They will be joining around 80 other people gathered from all over the UK, and will be skiing over 130km of piste, including one of the longest runs in the world with a vertical drop of 1,435 metres.
To do this they need to raise as much sponsorship money as possible and as Capella is from Bury and Mike from Bolton, they are appealing to both local businesses or individuals who would like to help.
St Helens Glass and Chartwell Financial Services are holding a joint fundraising dinner dance at The Hilton Hotel, St Helens on November 21.
