NINE members of Bradford Bulls' world club championship team will return to the scene of their famous triumph on Saturday for the second Test at Huddersfield, with captain Robbie Paul the odd man out.
The popular Bulls skipper, who led his side to victory over Newcastle Knights at the McAlpine Stadium in the first match of the season nine months ago, will be up against no fewer than eight of his club-mates as Great Britain seek to level the Don't Drink Drive Series against New Zealand.
The addition of evergreen hooker James Lowes, in place of the injured Keiron Cunningham, increases the dominance of Brian Noble's Bradford, who could theoretically provide the entire British pack.
"And they would be justified too," said Paul. "We have one of the best forward packs in the world."
Even the partisan Paul would surely accommodate reigning Man of Steel Paul Sculthorpe, who is battling to overcome the thigh injury which sidelined him for the opening 30-16 defeat at Blackburn.
Coach David Waite has included the St Helens loose forward in an 18-strong squad and, such is his importance to the team, that he will be given until just before the game to prove his fitness.
Possible team: Connolly (Wigan); Pryce (Bradford), Gleeson (St Helens), Senior (Leeds), Gilmour (Bradford); Sinfield (Leeds), Deacon (Bradford); Fielden (Bradford), Lowes (Bradford), O'Connor (Wigan), Morley (Sydney), Farrell (Wigan, capt), Sculthorpe (St Helens).
Subs: Forshaw (Bradford), Anderson (Bradford), Peacock (Bradford), Orr (Castleford).
Referee: Steve Clark (Australia).
