BURY Under 15s bid to make it into the last 32 of the English Schools' Wizards Trophy when they take on Salford in their third round clash at Derby School tomorrow, kick off 10.30a.m.
Bolton Under 15s switch their attentions to the Northern Merit League travelling to meet West Lancashire.
The Bury youngsters have been in sparkling form in the national inter
association knockout cup this season beating Warrington 1-0 in the 1st Round
and local rivals Bolton 5-3 after extra time of their 2nd Round tie.
But they will have to be at their best against a Salford outfit, who have
beat St. Helens 3-1 in their 2nd Round tie after receiving a bye in the 1st
Round.
Both local associations have put their name on the national trophy in
nrecent years with Bury beating Walsall in 1996 and Salford clinched the
title by beating Cardiff in 2000.
Bolton have only played one game in that competition so far going down 2-0
to Defton on October 19.
