A CHORLEY opticians is become the first shop in Lancashire to own an eye scanner which helps detect glaucoma.
The machine will unveiled Specsavers, Crown Street, on Tuesday, November 26.
The £25,000 scanner is used for early detection of the eye disease, known as the 'silent sight stealer' as people often not know they have the disease until they begin losing their sight.
