AN 85-year-old woman was robbed as she walked down Charlton Avenue, in Prestwich.
Police are hunting a teenager, aged between 14 and 16, who snatched her handbag, making off with a quantity of cash. The offender struck at 11.30am on Monday and is described as male, white, with dark hair.
The pensioner did not suffer serious injuries.
