THE RURAL economy in Cheshire is to receive almost £10 million in Government cash to help it recover from the effects of the Foot and Mouth epidemic.
The £9.4 million grant, announced by the Northwest Development Agency, will be available over five years from April.
Farming and touring firms in the county will be invited to apply for grants early next year.
