EXPANSION plans for Greater Manchester's tram service are due to come under public scrutiny.
The proposal to build a second Metrolink station in Bury town centre is to be the subject of a special meeting at 7pm today at Bury Town Hall.
Residents living near the proposed site in Buckley Wells will get a chance to comment on the scheme, which it is hoped will cut traffic on nearby roads.
The planned stop, which also includes 200 park-and-ride spaces, has long been part of Metrolink's expansion plans.
