IT was cup weekend for a number of Bolton Boys Fed teams when several players took the honours.
Sanders was the hero for Bromley Cross U13s with a golden goal winner in their County Cup win over Flixton. Other strikes came from Ward and Holding.
In the League there were good wins for AFC, Deans, CMB Jnrs and St Mary's, who now take over second spot in Division One.
In the U16s section Turton, Eagles and Lads Club all had victories, while Junior Latics dropped a point in a six goal thriller with Hindley Tigers.
In the U15s Daisy Hill, Radcliffe Boro and Breightmet Utd move up the league after their recent wins.
Oxford Grove move into the next round of the LFA Cup and Eagley Rangers, St Mary's, Tempest Utd and Radcliffe Boro all advance into the next round of the Jubilee Cup at U14s level. In the League RMI had a great win and Martindales beat league leaders North Walkden with Brookes netting a hat-trick.
The Jubilee Cup U12s saw good wins for County Crusaders, Bromley Cross, Oxford Grove and Hindley Juniors, who knocked out a strong Farnworth Boys team.
Horwich St Mary's and Hindley both won in the U11s Cup. In the league, Oxford Grove had a comfortable win while West Rangers won by the odd goal in a thriler over Bromley Cross.
