SUNDAY football action in the BSG O35s saw the Divisional Cup Quarter Finals take place and in Division One, leaders Stand Athletic, survived a scare to come from 2-1 down, to eventually win 3-2 against Breightmet United.
Cross Keys beat the Willows 3-1 and Turton won a thriller against Dobbies A, the match ending 1-1 after extra time before Turton took a tense penalty shootout 5-4. Colliers Rest and Pennington was postponed due to the bad weather.
The Division Two matches saw Hayward Old Boys run out comfortable 2-0 winners at home to Horwich Town, and Bolton Wyresdale had a great 3-2 win against Daten AFC, thanks to a Tony Gaynor hat-trick. The Seven Stars v Bay Mare Strollers and Hare Athletic v Newmarket were both postponed.
In Division Three, DF Lostock comfortably beat Ainsworth Fossils 3-0 while Rumworth/Hulton beat Old Smithillians in a cracking match by 5-3 after extra time. Urmston MC v Founders Arms and Dobbies C v Bottom Bulls Head were both lost to the poor weather.
