AN elderly woman was left shaken after being robbed by a youth aged about 13.
The pensioner, aged 71, was in Catherine Street East, Horwich, when the youth came up behind her and grabbed her shopping bag at 6.30pm yesterday.
Police in Bolton are appealing for help in identifying the teenager. The offender was white, of slim build and was wearing a dark three-quarter length coat with a hood, dark trousers and trainers.

Det Sgt Brian Langrish,from Astley Bridge CID, said: "Although it was dark at the time of the robbery, we believe people will have seen her attacker and, due to his age, we believe he is likely to be local to the area."
