POLICE have recovered the body of a 57-year-old diver who drowned in a lake at the Dorothea Quarry in north Wales.
A remote-controlled robot submarine found the body of Dennis Dransfield, from Oldham, just before 7pm on Thursday.
It is thought Mr Dransfield -- the fifth diver to die in the quarry in a year -- was using special mixed gas equipment to dive to a depth of around 300ft.
He failed to resurface after entering the lake on Sunday.
