THANK you to Nick Burton for two lovely walks (Weekend supplement) -- the Anglezarke and the Silverdale coastal walk.
To be honest, we only did part of both of them. The Silverdale walk (Saturday, November 16) includes a part to Jenny Brown's point. For those who have no time to complete the whole walk, there is a car park near Jenny Brown's point for the RSPB Eric Morecambe hide. At low tide the birds are not there -- but fear not. If you follow Nick's walk out to Jack Scout point, you will see them all feeding on the mudflats. On Monday it was glorious sunshine, and across the sandy mud there were thousands of Oystercatchers, Shelduck, Lapwings with Curlew, herons and other sea birds.
Thank you for showing us a wonderful seaside view!
