I WOULD like to agree with Darren Davies' letter (November 16).
However, why not go one further, every football fan in the country could then desert their team, sit at home eating crisps and drinking lager in our armchairs watching our favourite team of the week (who is it this week? Manchester City).
Then when the clubs have gone under due to lack of support we can start watching Pro-Celebrity Darts on Satelite.
Darren, I can't explain the feeling your letter left me with on Saturday. So you have only been to one game in 10 years, why do I get the feeling you went to watch Bolton versus Manchester United or another massive club.
If you had been to the Reebok of late you would know that there is a slight lack of atmosphere of late, the footie hasn't been of the highest quality and the results haven't been going our way but abandoning the Whitemen is not the answer.
The answer is Saturday. 3pm. Reebok Stadium. Chelsea. Get behind the Whites. Lets 'AVE IT.
I have to go now as seeing as Bolton aren't playing today I have to sit in front of the telly and watch my new favourite team Greater United Kingdom Rovers.
