World-class Whites
deserve much more
THE performance at Leeds was one of the best I have seen for a long time.
These days the Reebok offers fans a chance to see a talented, cosmopolitan team of world stars. This is the best Bolton team since the fifties - sorry Sam, I enjoyed watching your team during the seventies but it didn't have too many World Cup stars!
All we need are crowds that match our status. There are still Division One teams getting better crowds than Bolton.
Its just £16 for members in the South Stand which is probably the cheapest in the Premiership. What are people doing on Saturdays? Going shopping?

Get behind the Whites
Armchair football fans will kill the game
Armchair supporters will kill the game
I WOULD like to agree with Darren Davies' letter (November 16).
However, why not go one further, every football fan in the country could desert their team, sit at home eating crisps and drinking lager in our armchairs watching our favourite team of the week (who is it this week? Manchester City).
When the clubs have gone under due to lack of support we can enjoy Pro-Celebrity Darts on Sky.
Darren, I can't explain the feeling your letter left me with on Saturday. So you have only been to one game in 10 years, why do I get the feeling you went to watch Bolton versus Manchester United or another massive club.
If you had been to the Reebok of late you would know that there is a slight lack of atmosphere, the footie hasn't been of the highest quality and the results haven't been going our way but abandoning the team is not the answer.
I have to go now as I have to sit in front of the telly and watch my new favourite team Greater United Kingdom Rovers.
