Wanderers 1 CHELSEA 1
WANDERERS
3-5-2 then 4-3-3
JUSSI JAASKELAINEN ... 8
Outstanding saves from Gallas and Hasselbaink kept Wanderers in the game at key times
ANTHONY BARNESS ... 8
His rich vein of form continues; one stunning interception on Hasselbaink was top drawer
IVAN CAMPO ... 8
His best game in a Bolton shirt; terrific anticipation allied to that unshakeable self-confidence
SIMON CHARLTON ... 8
Out of position at centre-back but not out of his depth; a vital goal-line clearance from Melchiot
PAUL WARHURST ... 7
By his own admission, he is no wing-back, but after the switch he made telling contributions
PER FRANDSEN ... 6
Helped Wanderers end the first half strongly but a hamstring injury prevented his re-appearance
JAY JAY OKOCHA ... 9
The tricks keep on coming and so does the endeavour; he has the bit between his teeth now
KEVIN NOLAN ... 7
A disciplined performance in a midfield, where he was up against world class performers
RICARDO GARDNER ... 7
Worked hard to get things going on the left, often a little too keen and too quick for his own good
YOURI DJORKAEFF ... 9
Desailly, Petit, Zola ... Djorkaeff is still good enough to be mentioned in the same breath
HENRIK PEDERSEN ... 8
Another game, another goal for the determined Dane, who is finally being rewarded for his efforts
Subs: Stig Tofting (7) for Frandsen h-t, Michael Ricketts for Nolan 79 mins. Not used: Dean Holdsworth, Nicky Southall, Kevin Poole.

Men of the Match
YOURI DJORKAEFF & JAY JAY OKOCHA - WHEN you see them performing at this level and in such esteemed company, you appreciate the star quality of these two highly-respected internationals. Djorkaeff's influence has never been questioned, now Okocha is making his presence felt.
Magic Moment
DESAILLY escaped with just a yellow card but seeing a world class defender resort to such a cynical foul to deny Pedersen a clear run on goal underlined the Dane's recent Premiership force. His header wasn't bad either as he extended his scoring run to three goals in two games.
Moan of the Match
BIG Sam had a big moan at his players for letting it slip so calamitously at the end. Okocha surrendered valuable possession carelessly at one end then his team-mates switched off at the other, allowing Chelsea the freedom to fashion an opening for Zola to tee-up Hasselbaink.
