A REPLICA of the bench featured in the classic film Brief Encounter is to be presented to the Friends of Carnforth Station by Lancashire County Council.
The bench, which cost £250, has been made by local craftsmen from metal and ash wood to the design of the original.
A plaque will also be unveiled to commemorate the re-opening of the station, a council spokesman said.
