MANCHESTER'S orbital M60 has been named as one of the country's top 12 congested blackspots by a traffic monitoring company.
Trafficmaster says congestion alerts on the motorway are rising, while average speeds are falling to as low as 10mph at peak times. The motorway initially made road travel easier and quicker, but has prompted more motorists to use it.
Government figures say traffic will grow by 20 per cent over the next 10 years.
