SAM Allardyce is confident Wanderers' World Cup stars, Youri Djorkaeff and Jay Jay Okocha, have the quality to match the best in the Premiership.
The Reebok boss, who has repeatedly expressed his concern over his team's defensive frailties and - at times - the finishing power of his strike-force, has no worries on the creative front.
"We've got a quality that will cause anyone problems," the manager said, after seeing the two world famous internationals match some of the best Chelsea's star-studded team could offer in Saturday's 1-1 draw at the Reebok.
"You probe with people like Youri and Jay Jay because they've got the quality to open people up. We put Chelsea under a lot of pressure once we changed the system."
Djorkaeff is currently Wanderers' top scorer with four but added to his collection of 'assists' at the weekend with the corner Henrik Pedersen converted to put Wanderers ahead against Claudio Ranieri's high-flying Blues, who started impressively but were derailed after Allardyce switched Paul Warhurst from wing-back to midfield.
"In the end we scored with a set play, which was a quality ball in," the manager acknowledged, "but a number of other chances went begging to have made it two."
The French World Cup winner has been a major influence since his arrival at the Reebok from Kaiserslautern in February. But, by his own admission, Okocha has been surprised by the pace of the Premiership. Recent games, however, have seen him produce the endeavour and the quality that have made him a hit in Germany, Turkey and France as well as on the international stage with Nigeria.
Together they helped Wanderers claim the 'Performance of the Week' award for their 4-2 victory at Leeds and have boosted supporters' hopes that their current position - third from bottom in the Premiership - can quickly be improved on.
