A MOVE towards fitting traditional carpets in the classroom could be endangering children's health.
A floor manufacturer has warned that the carpets contain hundreds of thousands of dust mites which can trigger asthma attacks in youngsters.
Bonar Floors said asthma or related allergies are the main cause of days lost from school, with one in three children suffering from these problems.
