NOBEL peace Prize Laureate and former SDLP leader John Hume was due in Cheshire today to visit Warrington's Peace Centre.

The Foyle MP was due to tour the Great Sankey facility built in memory of Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball who died when IRA bombs exploded in the town.

Mr Hume is the latest key figure in the troubled Northern Ireland peace process to visit the state-of-the-art centre.
