Bolton suffer Trafford trauma
BOLTON Under 15s lost ground in the Greater Manchester Schools' League when they went down 2-0 to Trafford at Ashton on Mersey School on Saturday.
They had much the better of the first half but fell behind to a Sean Wilkinson goal after 75 minutes. A second Wilkinson goal five minutes from time ensured maximum points for the home side.
Bolton Under 14s fared better beating Trafford's younger representatrive side 2-0 in their Greater Manchester Schools' League clash at Hacken Lane. Paul Oldham and Adam Starkey scored the goals.
Bury Under 15s made a quick return to winning ways with a 3-2 win against Salford in their match at Derby School. A Lee Bruce hat-trick clinched a great fightback.
