WATCHING paint dry is the new going out thanks to a colourful Manchester style bar.
The innovative Colour Bar, launched by Crown Paints and Noble House Leisure Group, offers visitors the chance to view and purchase cutting edge interior styles in a relaxing bar atmosphere.
The pilot bar, in St Anne's Square, hosts a kaleidoscope of colours and stimulations, with even the drinks and foods colour-themed to suit different moods. And if you're feeling weary, there's even the chance for a massage and beauty treatment.
Sounds like the one-stop inspiration centre! The idea is fantastic, and may be the refreshing new blueprint for the UK bar scene, shop while you sup.
But can you imagine the ludicrous beer-goggled colour schemes and impulse purchases that may come as a result? And similarly the drink-fuelled rows over the dining room wallpaper?
Definitely worth a visit, if only for novelty value, but exercise caution before you part with your cash.
