Congratulations to M Bell/J Partington who won the ladies pairs round the board held at Rumworth/Hulton Con Club, beating Nat and Gina Jones 3-1 in the final. The semi finalists were J Robishaw/D Meanley and L Juniper/J Billington.

The men's individual competition on Monday, December 2, to be held at Derby Ward. All entrants contact secretary P Baistow to register. Entrants to be at the venue by 8.10pm for draw at 8.15pm. Committee officials are P Baistow, J Speddy, M Bell and J Heyes.
