IN reply to the story in the Bolton Evening News on Thursday, November 14, about neighbours fighting plans for a skateboard park.
The residents around the park were consulted, they all had letters and they were invited to a meeting organised by the Residents' Association at Highfield Hall. The children were also invited.
Let's remember that the children have to play on the park, and they wanted skate ramps because the residents were objecting to football.
The residents could have attended any of our meetings and had their say, but they did not, and the skate ramps will stay.
