Man of the Match
EYAL BERKOVIC THE little City playmaker was head and shoulders above the rest in a midfield that was otherwise lacking in star quality. Crowned his performance with a superbly-taken goal.
Magic Moment
JAASKELAINEN might say his save from Distin's close-range header on the stroke of half-time was routine stuff but, for a brief interlude, it gave Wanderers hope that they might get something out of the game.
Moan of the Match
DEPLETED though they were, Wanderers did not give the impression they had the stomach for a derby duel. Not a single shot or header on target in the first 45 minutes ... and little else to cheer their fans, many of whom sat miserably in the rain.
