TRIPLE jump champion Jonathan Edwards returns to Manchester next week aiming to pick up another record -- as one of 20,000 people at the world's biggest-ever Christmas carol service.
He will take centre stage at Sing Your Hearts Out for the Lad -- a multi-media presentation featuring a 3,000-strong choir, an interactive nativity play, children's TV presenter Diane Louise Jordan, actress Kathy "Nora Batty" Staff, BBC Radio 2's Don MacLean, Salvation Army bands, and drama.
And now the event has caught the attention of Guinness World Records who are monitoring the event for inclusion in their next list of new achievements.
The event takes place at Manchester City's Maine Road football ground on Sunday, December 8 at 3.30pm.
Tickets for "Sing Your Hearts Out for the Lad" are available on 0161 832 1111.
