MANAGERS at Manchester Airport say better public transport will be needed if it is to become the UK's second largest airport.
The airport has welcomed proposals that Manchester should be developed as a regional and international hub airport with a predicted threefold rise in demand for air travel over the next 30 years. But they say more public funding for transport is needed.
