I REFER to your article on the Letters Page on Tuesday, November 26, (Dog fouling again) from "Concerned resident, Harwood".
This person must go around with only one eye open, and only see what they want to see. We talk our faithful friend, Bob the Dog, for miles in town and countryside, and we have both eyes open.
1. The dog does not chew gum and then throw it away, making a mess on our pavements.
2. Dogs do not scribble foul words on our buildings.
3. Dogs do not smash up our bus shelters and telephone boxes.
4. Dogs don't litter our streets and countryside with all kinds of human rubbish.
5. Dogs do not poison our waterways and the air we breathe.
Open both eyes "Concerned resident, Harwood", there is a lot more you could find to moan about, then you and the Bolton Evening News might leave us pet owners alone.
