YOUNGSTERS in Bolton will be busy swapping toys, thanks to a new library.
A toy library has opened in Tonge Moor which will encourage children to play with toys they might not normally come into contact with.
The library at the Entwistle Street community learning centre will provide a variety of traditional and innovative toys for children up to the age of eight.
Parents, who will be encouraged to use the library as a meeting place, can borrow the toys for their children for two weeks for a small charge.
Childcare co-ordinator Sue Fisher said: "Quality toys can be expensive. Children are always looking for new experiences and can quickly tire of them, so the toy library is a great idea.
"The library will allow children to try out a wide range of toys and games, and help inform parents of the sorts of toys the children would like to have bought for them."
