YOUNGSTERS will have a chance to tuck into healthy snacks thanks to a new vending machine.
Primary schools have traditionally refused to allow food and drink vending machines to be installed, but the Green Machine Junior is set to change that as it only sells snacks which do not contain additives, preservatives or colourings.
All the snacks are reviewed by a state-registered dietician and any schools ordering a machine receive a visit from a nutritional expert who gives lessons in Personal Health and Social Education.
