BOLTON Cricket Association side Clifton have appointed Lee Wolstenholme as professional for next season.
He was considered a permanant fixture in the Central Lancashire League, where he had considerable success, notably with Middleton and as captain of the CLL's representative side.
The slow left arm bowler has played all his cricket for the Middleton club and has topped the Central Lancs bowling averages for the past four seasons, last year claiming 83 wickets.
Clifton will also have new covers for their square next season following a grant of £5,000 from the 'Awards For All' scheme.
