BOLTON and District Citizens Advice Bureau is urging people to think about the true spirit of Christmas by helping others.
The bureau is looking to train volunteers in a variety of rolls ranging from money advice to housing, benefit queries to employment, and many others.
Helen Barton-Hanson, training and Recruitment Officer said: "No qualifications are required, just a willingness to help people and to work with a team.
"In return, volunteers will receive full training and support, and the chance to develop new skills and meet new people."
She added that the Bureau would pay travel expenses and that the volunteering would not affect the right to claim benefits. Interested volunteers can attend an information session on Thursday December 12 and Wednesday January 22, both at 2.30pm. For more details or to book a place, call Helen on 01204 900210.
