BLACKROD Town stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games with a 3-2 win over Freckleton to take them just two points behind the West Lancs League leaders Charnock Richard.
Town went ahead after 10 minutes through Mark Height with the first of his hat-trick and were always in command until Freckleton rallied with two late goals in the last 10 minutes.
The two goals scored by Frackleton were in the 81st minute which was a scrappy goal and the second was in the eighty fifth which was a penalty.
