PUPILS from Clevelands Preparatory School, Chorley New Road, Bolton, have brought some early Christmas cheer to patients at Beaumont Hospital.
They gathered to sing carols on the wards and then shared mince pies with staff.
The pupils have also been busy filling shoe boxes with gifts for children in Eastern Europe.
The boxes, which are being sent abroad with the help of the hospital and the local Rotary Club, contain everything from toothpaste and toys to toffees and school equipment.
