CHORLEY boss Mark Molyneux is looking to build on Tuesday night's UniBond League Cup success away at Bishop Auckland tomorrow.
The Victory Park boss used the midweek clash at Runcorn FC Halton, which the Magpies won 3-1, to try a few new faces and his selection had the desired effect.
"I felt after the defeat against Belper last weekend one or two players seemed to be slipping into the comfort zone," said the Chorley boss.
"We made five changes and the players that came in did well.
"We gave people like Stuart Tulloch, Phil Bayliss, Ian Barker and Ian Bold a run and they certainly have made my selection job a difficult one.
"Those people who thought they were in the comfort zone now know that they need to be on their toes - otherwise they will be on their toes out of here.
"But it is a nice problem to have when you have players hungry for selection."
While the Bishops are struggling next to bottom in the table, Chorley know that the clash at Kingsway and the following away game at another struggling side Eastwood Town provide tests from which they could do with coming away with points.
"It doesn't matter where they are in the league," said Molyneux.
"They will be real battles and I will have to select my team accordingly."
