A MAN was attacked with a machete and baseball bat last night in Farnworth.
He was waiting for a bus in Westhead Avenue when he was pounced on by a gang of teenagers at about 9.30pm.
The victim is from Little Hulton. He is not said to be seriously injured and has been detained for treatment in the Royal Bolton Hospital.
No further details about the attack have been released.
Detectives were due to interview the victim today.
