CHRISTMAS is upon us! Every time I leave the house, the number of Christmas trees I see has doubled. Must be contagious.
And so it's about time for Key 103's 12 Nights of Christmas. Me and the rest of the team have been out and about this week visiting pubs and bars in the North-west, giving listeners the chance to enjoy a drink on us.
We might even be visiting your local to put some money behind the bar and enjoy a night out in your town. This week we've been in Bolton at the Victoria Inn, otherwise known as Fanny's, and all involved had a great night - and some of our team certainly ended up worse for wear!
Once again I'll be in the DJ booth at Ikon tonight (Friday), so get yourselves down there for another fantastic Key 103 night out.
To get Key 103 in your local for one of the 12 nights of Christmas, just log on to our website, www.key103.co.uk, and give us your suggestions.
As far as my show goes, I've had an interesting week, with Popstars' Darius Danesh popping in for a chat about his debut album Dive In, released this week, and telling listeners of his appearance at the Trafford Centre on Tuesday night, where he treated fans to a live performance of his new single Rushes.
This week's chart looks set to be a Top 5 of new songs, with Eminem's new single, Robbie's first single from his Escapology album Feel and Darius's track all released earlier this week. My number one money's on Robbie Williams, but those pesky Cheeky Girls could sneak in to take the top slot.
Look out for me later in the month when I'll be back in Ikon on the 20th with the Breakfast Show's Simon dressed as a Christmas fairy.
