LEIGH RMI boss Steve Waywell is hoping his side can put behind them last week's home 3-0 defeat by Telford when they go to Gloucestershire, to face Frest Green writes Martyn Hindley

The game is a six-pointer for two sides too close to the relegation zone of the Conference.

Colin Addison's men have had such a turbulent season to date if has put RMI's problems in the shade.

They lost manager Nigel Spink just five games into the campaign with the club still without a win, but recovered to

take Third Division Exeter City to an FA Cup replay.

Rovers' may have lost out on an even bigger pay-day on that occasion, but morale is much higher now and they will prove a difficult side to beat.

Leigh at least will have more resources to call upon for the arduous trek down to Gloucestershire.

Neil Fitzhenry returns from suspension, while John Robertson and Andy Heald should be fit to start if either is called upon.

Heald was the hero of the hour at the same venue back in March when the Hilton Park outfit recorded a victory far more emphatic than the 2-1 result suggests. The Leigh-born lad was on the mark twice and Neil Fisher had a

long-range effort curiously cancelled out on that occasion, but Waywell knows that consistency is the key.

"We just can't seem to string it together for two games in a row," he said.

"One day we are out-playing the best team in the league and the next we are just dire.

"We can't get away with that at this level because it is the teams that string the best run of results together that stay up in May."
