THEY may be third from the bottom but Wanderers' fans are convinced they are on course for a second successive Premiership survival.

Only a minority of fans taking part in an internet poll conducted by the Bolton Evening News believe they will be relegated while the vast majority are tipping them to finish clear of the drop zone.

Of 253 fans web fans who took part in the poll, only 35 fear the drop with 45 confident Sam Allardyce's men will finish 15th - three places clear of relegation.

There are those who fear the worst with 19 predicting Wanderers to finish bottom of the Premiership but for every pessimist there is an optimist - 19 reckon they will win the title!
