Wanderers are chasing compensation from the French football authorities for the injury to Bernard Mendy which has cost them his services.
Mendy is out for a further six weeks after breaking a bone in his leg while on international duty.
Under current rules Wanderers have to pay the French defender's wages as the French FA - unlike their English counterparts - have no insurance cover.
Allardyce is disgusted with the French for playing Mendy in a full game just one day after he had played 95 minutes of a Premiership game.
He has passed on the case to the FA and wants them to take the French authorities responsible to task.
He said: "The FA should take up our case and we should get the compensation we deserve.
"Neglect is a very serious thing and this is neglect of a player's health and safety.
"It is a shame that Adam Crozier is not still with the FA because I thought he was a top man."
